The XBACK PROLIFT-PLUS is a unique one piece LSO brace that immobilizes the wearer from the sacrococcygeal junction to above T9 vertebra. Lateral stability is provided by rigid lateral panels in the side of the brace. The Prolift-Plus’s unique split front panel helps center the brace on the abdomen while providing intracavitary pressure / hydrostatic lift to reduce load on the intervertebral discs.

With the ProLift split anterior panel, you are always going to have a centered brace front and back with even pressure throughout the brace. The ProLift only weighs about 22 ounces.

XactTEMP

The XactTEMP cooling insert delivers steady, integrated temperature therapy for patients wearing the XBack braces. The XactTEMP panel will maintain 55°F (±1°) for 90+ minutes and can be recharged quickly in the freezer or refrigerator. The XactTEMP panel is easily interchanged with the standard posterior panel of the ProLift, Solution ES, XBack II and ProLift-Plus.

Therapeutic cooling is optimal when blood flow is decreased but capillary flow continues. At a surface temp of around 55 degrees F, blood flow is decreased 50% which significantly inhibits inflammatory response and pain. XactTEMP panels provide therapeutic cooling at 55° F which completely eliminates the risk of potential injury caused by prolonged or direct exposure to ice or gel packs.

The cut out in the center of the Xback posterior panel increases airflow making the brace cooler, lighter, less bulky and thus more comfortable to wear. The cut out also reduces pressure on the spine especially for the post-op patient or those receiving injections.

THE XBACK SPONDY TLSO extension brace combines an easy to adjust shoulder strapping system with no hard sternal pads along with a large anterior panel that extends from symphysis pubis to xyphoid and midline to midline thus providing a greater level of anterior stabilization.  The brace is easy for patients to put on, to adjust and to remove, so the comfortable light weight brace encourages compliance with treatment protocols.

The Spondy was designed to give physicians another option for patients rather than a hard sternal pad pushing on the patient's chest. A TLSO with a sternal pad can be very uncomfortable for older patients.
